Many times the treatment of children with psychiatric disorders is complicated by the concomitant presence of neurological or medical problems. Interventions are different depending on the source and timing. Speakers explore some of these areas to highlight clues that may lead to a more effective treatment plan. During this Clinical Consultation Breakfast, participants learn to evaluate and treat youth with psychiatric symptoms and serious neurological disorders, to effectively provide care for children who have serious medical disorders, and to effectively liaise with other healthcare staff in helping them meet the psychiatric needs of their patients.
