The Mentorship Program matches trainees and medical students with senior child and adolescent psychiatrists. Small groups are formed in which the students and psychiatrists can develop a collegial relationship that includes the sharing of ideas, challenges, and accomplishments. Some topics include research activities, balancing personal and professional obligations, securing an intellectually stimulating peer environment, networking, writing and publishing, and becoming active in local and national advocacy initiatives. Groups present what they have discussed at the closing meeting on Saturday. You must select the ticket for the Mentorship Program on your registration form, but there is no cost to participate in this program.
