The AACAP wishes to reach out to international attendees at the Annual Meeting. There is a special scientific program where Waiel H.S. Alani, M.D. presents a moving talk on his experiences working in the midst of the conflict in Iraq with children and families. Dr. Per-Anders Rydelius, M.D., M.P.A., president of the International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions comments on Dr. Alani’s experiences. This should be a very interesting and informative program.
