NIDA-Sponsored Career Development Award (K12): New Applicants Open Forum

The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) is requesting new applications for the AACAP Physician Scientist Program in Substance Abuse K12 award; sponsored jointly by AACAP and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). The grant provides up to five years of salary support and mentored addiction research training for qualified child and adolescent psychiatrists who intend to establish careers as independent investigators.  Individuals who may be interested in applying for the K12 award are invited to attend the open forum to learn more about the application process, meet the program administrators, and hear from previous K12 award recipients. Senior investigators who may be considering serving as Scholar mentors or who have candidate applicant recommendations are also encouraged to attend.
