This Workshop focuses on broadening the understanding of Asperger’s Disorder through a discussion of diagnostic criteria, behavioral assessment and interventions, educational strategies, and social skills/competence training. Topics include social impairment and clumsiness in nonverbal communication, social isolation, difficulty sensing feelings, infringing on other’s space, excellent rote memory, and strength in decoding.
