This SIG presents a model demonstration play interview performed by a faculty member in front of a one-way mirror and recorded to allow residents both real-time observation and playback review. Participants learn the benefits of videotaping sessions and become familiar with the logistics of setting up demonstration play interviews. The challenges and opportunities provided by live interviews and DVD replay are explored. Participants share their experiences with live and taped play interviews as teaching tools.
