Without narration, Babies follows the journey of four babies born and brought up in different regions of the world through their first year of life. The film compels the viewer to consider how culture impacts a child’s personality, his ability to relate to others, and his capacity to become independent; and celebrates similarities in attachment, expectations, and developmental milestones across cultures.
