1. Leadership and administration;
2. Business and medical economics with a special emphasis on private practice and CPT coding;
3. Personal growth and humanism; and
4. Transition to a new personal and professional life as an ECP.
The program also reinforces effective practices in the mentee/mentor relationship, raises awareness of local AACAP resources, and fosters ECP interest in active involvement in local AACAP activities. As a result, ECPs gain a better understanding of how to utilize mentorship, feel more connected to their regional organization, and make use of the regional organization as a mentorship resource.
