This hands-on Workshop provides an opportunity for clinicians and those with training and supervisory responsibilities to intensively review and begin using the organizing principles of the DC: 0-3R™, including Axes I-V: Axis I, Clinical Diagnosis; Axis II, Relationship Classification, and the Parent-Infant Relationship Global Assessment Scale (PIR-GAS); Axis III, Medical and Developmental Disorders and Conditions; Axis IV, Psychosocial Stressors; and Axis V, Emotional and Social Function. DVD vignettes from actual cases are used for attendees to participate in guided observation, diagnoses, and initial treatment planning. Participants learn that the diagnostic process involves integrating information about the child, the family, cultural context, and factors that initiated clinical attention.
