Problem-Based Learning in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
This SIG on Problem Based Learning (PBL) integrates feedback from the previous three years and aims to promote knowledge amongst child and adolescent psychiatrists on PBL; explore techniques for evaluation of PBL in child and adolescent psychiatry; discuss students’ participation in PBL curriculum development; and identify problems with PBL, as well as workable solutions. The two major areas covered are 1) the practical integration of new accreditation requirements and guidelines in PBL curricula in child and adolescent psychiatry and 2) an update on the use of PBL case construction and case study in internationally collaborative training efforts.
