Successful Transition to Practice for Early Career Psychiatrists 2013

This Member Forum provides child and adolescent psychiatry fellows and early career psychiatrist an opportunity to learn about common challenges that the transition from training to practice may present. Discussed are: the framework for developing an office-based practice, the use of negotiation skills in academic and private settings, and personal and professional growth during this transition and beyond. Participants increase their confidence in business, leadership, and personal growth skills.
