Workshop 18 (sold out)
Parent-Child Relationship Assessment in Early Childhood

An essential task for early childhood clinicians is assessing parent-child relationships using well validated, reliable, and developmentally appropriate measures in the clinic setting. This Workshop presents a state of the art clinical assessment method derived from research involving observation of young children and their caregivers. Participants learn the overarching principles involved in assessing parent-child relationships for children between 12 and 60 months-of-age, how to administer and interpret the parent perception interview, and how to administer and interpret an interactional procedure in young children.
