Leadership Development Forum for Early Career Psychiatrists and Beyond

Child and adolescent psychiatrists are often asked to take on medical directorships, supervisory responsibilities, and administrative duties shortly after entering the workforce. This Member Services Forum prepares participants to manage these new roles. Learn about available literature regarding leadership styles, leadership development, and physician leadership; gain an understanding of the range of career options and professional roles available; and explore examples of administrative leadership, clinical leadership, and academic leadership. Participants learn concrete strategies for improving their leadership skills and are provided with tools to aid in self-reflection, career development, and personal growth.
