Child and adolescent psychiatrists regularly respond to children and families experiencing the effects of a broad range of traumas. While a specific trauma, such as maltreatment, sexual victimization, violent or accidental injury, natural disasters, war, and terrorism each presents its own unique challenges, traumatic experiences have many common characteristics. This Workshop, presented by a clinician with experience in a wide range of traumatic situations presents a comprehensive approach to responding to traumatic experiences regardless of the cause.
