This session focuses on the current status of available mental health services for college students, and formulates ideas to improve access to and utilization of such care. It ascertains the nature and extent of involvement of child and adolescent psychiatrists in the care and treatment of college-age populations. Treatment needs and current modes of provision of mental health services to this group are discussed. Other topics include legal considerations, as well as the high school-to-college transition.
