Make CPT Codes Work for You
This Member Services Forum explores the most effective use of the American Medical Association's Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) Manual. It also includes an overview of the CPT coding and Medicare payment systems, fraud and abuse rules, evaluation and management (E/M) codes, psychiatry codes, and selected non-psychiatry codes. Clinical case vignettes are presented as vehicles to describe coding options with their respective merits and drawbacks. Participants are encouraged to ask questions about how to code services they provide in their own practices.
