This SIG reviews recent advances in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for childhood anxiety disorders, including obsessive compulsive disorder. The presenters discuss recent advances in behavioral treatments for reducing tic severity in Tourette’s Syndrome and other tic disorders. The roles of functional assessment and functional interventions in anxiety and tic disorders, along with principles of acceptance and commitment therapy, are reviewed as well.
