Tourette's Disorder is a developmental neuropsychiatric disorder, first appearing in childhood, the clinical course of which reflects the complex interaction of genetic, perinatal, neurobiological, immunological, and experiential factors. This SIG focuses on recent clinical and research advances in the understanding and management of Tourette’s syndrome and related disorders, with particular attention to new treatments (such as Habit Reversal Therapy, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, natural history, and neuropsychological correlate.
