Child and adolescent psychiatrists have been involved in community-based systems of care from the beginning and their important role is essential and diverse; yet, they have few opportunities to compare their unique experiences, share lessons learned, and problem solve to find ways to overcome barriers in order to facilitate the widespread implementation of high quality systems of care. This session provides a forum for clinicians to share experiences and explore the variety of programs and strategies being used in community-based systems of care, including recent trends, funding strategies and streams, mechanisms to achieve integrated services, and wraparound service delivery.
