Despite increasing involvement of child and adolescent psychiatrists in community-based systems of care, there are few opportunities to exchange information, share lessons-learned, and problem-solve about barriers and solutions to widespread implementation. This SIG provides information on recent trends and directions in systems of care and innovative funding strategies and mechanisms for integrating services. The role of the child and adolescent psychiatrist is discussed and participants are encouraged to share their experiences—both success and failures—and ideas in approaching barriers and challenges to integrated care.
