Pediatric Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (PCLP), until very recently, has been very limited in terms of collaboration and communication across sites in Canada. This SIG strives to develop a collaborative network of colleagues in the field of PCLP with the goal of sharing expertise in clinical care, research, administration, and teaching. The benefits of such collaborative networks are described; and challenges to coordination of services due to variability in funding, service structure, and delivery are discussed. The possible development of national and international collaborations and networks is explored.
