Religion and spirituality in child, adolescent, and family development cannot be overlooked and is a clinically valid, important, and helpful area for clinicians to address. Attendees become comfortable recognizing and dealing with religious, cultural, and ethical implications arising from addressing religious and spiritual material. Topics presented include the importance of religion/spirituality in normal development; strategies for addressing religion/spirituality in clinical practice; and assessment techniques to use in the area of religion/spirituality.
