Robert Coles: An Extraordinary Man - A Continuing Media Discussion
Excerpts are presented from a videotaped interview with Robert Coles, M.D., in which he describes aspects of his professional career and emphasizes the potential child and adolescent psychiatrists have to make positive impacts on society. Dr. Coles spent much of his professional life interviewing children, adolescents, and adults about major concerns of his era; resulting in a six-volume collection, Children of Crisis, that earned him the 1973 Pulitzer Prize for General Non-fiction. Dr. Coles devoted much of his career educating students and professionals about the worlds of ethics and moral values as experienced in a variety of social and community settings. Come learn from and about this remarkable man.
