CPT Coding Development and Implementation for Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists

Psychiatry CPT codes underwent major change in 2013, the first since the late 1990s. This SIG on CPT coding has two aspects: 1) learning code criteria and how to accurately use them to benefit your practice; and 2) creating an interest group within AACAP to assist with code implementation and future changes, including member education, feedback as to what is working and what is not within various practice styles and settings, and availability for code development and valuation tasks such as code surveys and review of documents.
