Workshop 35 (sold out)
National Institutes of Health Research Priorities and Competitive Grant Writing for Success
New and experienced investigators are encouraged to attend this workshop to learn about current opportunities, processes, and mechanisms to apply for and obtain grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to support training and research in child and adolescent psychiatry. This workshop familiarizes investigators with the grant writing and grant review process, with a special emphasis on research mechanisms for early investigators. Participants learn about successful strategies for grant submissions related to substance abuse and mental health, current research funding opportunities and priorities, and new measurement resources and databases on children and adolescents.
