Welcome Reception

All Aboard! Meet your colleagues at the Welcome Reception on the decks of the USS Midway. Once a home away from home for more than 225,000 sailors, the USS Midway is the longest serving U.S. Navy aircraft carrier of the twentieth century and a living piece of American history.

Your mission: Dance and mingle under the stars and discover this legendary city at sea! Climb into cockpits of naval aircrafts on the 4-acre flight deck and test your own pilot skills in flight simulators in the hanger bay.

Tours led by knowledgeable docents will also be available. The flight deck and hangar bays are wheelchair accessible. Casual dress and flat-heeled shoes are recommended.
