Women in Leadership: Climbing the Jungle Gym to Success

The jungle gym, rather than the traditional image of a ladder, better suits the circuitous route women often traverse for career advancement. Four thoughtful, successful female leaders in the field share their successes, the paths they took, and the barriers they faced on their way to success. Their mission is to provide support for professional and leadership development for women and promote individual growth. Start developing your career plan, and learn why it is important to maintain flexibility and a willingness to revise the plan as needed. In addition, attendees learn how to explore their work environment/institution for gender support, equitable pay, mentorship, and leadership roles.
