Due to the ongoing shortage of child psychiatrists in this country, many organizations providing services to children have no child psychiatric input of any type. When a child psychiatrist is found who can work with the organization, this individual must develop a role in the organization in order to be successful. In this highly interactive Workshop, participants learn how to assess organizational dynamics when coming into an organization that has never had a child psychiatrist and learn how to use that assessment to effectively establish a leadership role in the organization.
