Problem-based learning (PBL) in child and adolescent psychiatry is a general educational strategy rather than merely a teaching approach. This SIG aims to promote knowledge among child and adolescent psychiatrists that enhance participants’ specific skills in PBL case construction and facilitation. Participants identify and fine tune the effective elements of PBL and provide hands-on demonstration and discussion of different techniques used in case construction and facilitation.
