Early Childhood Service Intensity Instrument
The Early Childhood Service Intensity Instrument (ECSII) was developed by the AACAP Committee on Community-Based Systems of Care in response to the need to assess service intensity needs for preschool-aged children (0-5 years) with mental health conditions. It is a reliable and valid method for assessing this population. This Workshop provides attendees with knowledge about ECSII and its use, increases awareness of how Systems of Care values and principles can guide mental health assessment in preschool children, and explains how to become certified by AACAP to administer this instrument.
