Ethical Issues in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

This is a forum for sharing difficult questions and problems related to professional ethics and provides members with an opportunity for personal informal consultation with members of the AACAP Ethics Committee. Several ethical dilemmas currently facing child and adolescent psychiatrists in clinical, administrative, consultative, research, and teaching setting are discussed. Be prepared to share a vignette describing an ethical matter you are engaged in or have encountered in practice or scholarship. Attendees are encouraged to provide a written description of the ethical dilemma for future educational purposes. Members are acquainted with available resources to help in addressing ethical issues.
