Complementary and Integrative Medicine Research

Are you interested in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM)? This Workshop reviews research on CAM in children and adolescents and emphasizes the need for more research. Attendees learn about the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) at the National Institute of Health, the types of research NCCAM has prioritized as important in CAM research in children and adolescents, the step-by-step process to follow when applying for a grant, and why some grants are accepted and others are not.
