Normal Development: A Review With Video Examples
In order to properly assess pathology, it is essential to have a solid grounding in normal development. However, normal development is and area frequently cited as being inadequately covered in training programs and continuing medical education. To change this, educators need to be more familiar with normal development and skilled in presenting the material in a manner that promotes learning. This Workshop uses active discussion of short video examples children growing up in the context of family and community. Attendees achieve a better basic understanding of major developmental theories from infancy through adolescence and educators learn how to improve teaching through use of stimulus video.
